No, he is not 'rock solid' like the vintage Juro dummies of the 1960's but this Slappy will hold his head up. This Slappy will sit up. This Slappy's body is not spongy cottony soft and the head won't flop to one side or back when you hold him up. (SEE LAST PHOTO). Earlier dummies by Goldberger/EeGees had firmer torsos.
