First, I had to juice the Brightness up all the way to achieve the picture you see. Second, in the picture of the color bars I probably also had the Color adjusted way up until I saw a person’s face and had to tone it down. What’s weird is that I tested this monitor maybe 2 years ago and the RGB convergence was off, noticeably so. So I was kind of shocked to not see that this time around. The only difference between this time and back then was back then I was feeding it a composite video input from a DVD player, this time an S-Video input from a laser disc player. So maybe it was the DVD player or maybe the composite input has issues. S looks pretty good to me. That said, we are dealing with vintage electronics and vintage electronics are subject to failure. So while it was working for me today I can’t spend hundreds of dollars to ship it and then have to pay to take it back. So it is being offered for parts or repair only, NO returns. Maybe you get ten years out of the thing, maybe you get ten minutes. Regardless, if repairs are required they will be at your expense. If you notice any weirdness in the several screen shots posted it isn't something that is visible to the eye, just some interaction between the camera and the refresh rate of the monitor. Usually i can get around that by taking a million pictures and just choosing the best ones. This time around all of the pictures seem to have at least something going on that is not visible if you are just sitting there looking at the screen. All items are sold as is with no warranty offered unless one is specifically stated. Any testing done will be explicitly stated in the listing and any accessory items will also be mentioned or pictured. If it isn’t pictured or mentioned you can assume it is not part of the sale. Due to the excessive size and weight this piece will need to ship freight. I can make the arrangements or you can make them yourself. I would estimate the shipment weighing 200 pounds, which would translate to $250 to a commercial address nearby on the east coast and maybe $400 to the west coast. Shipments to a residential address and/or shipments that require a liftgate delivery will be subject to additional fees as will shipments going to schools and universities and major metro areas, etc. If you prefer to make your own shipping arrangements it would be originating from a commercial space in zip code 27966 and a lift gate would not be required for the pickup. Alternatively I can move this over to my home address a block off the beach in 27948 for local pickup at no extra charge. Oddly enough people pay good money to vacation here in season. And please, no international buyers! I had this listed before with an Italian begging to buy it and I just can't make international freight happen any more. Used to be no problem, now I can't even get a quote.
