Description: The South Korea 10,000 Won Banknote was released by the Bank of Korea in 2007 in a color combination of green and blue. Its obverse features King Sejong the Great wearing a hanbok which is a traditional Korean dress. The obverse also shows a square holographic patch, a Korean text of Yongbiacheonga (Songs of Flyinf Dragons) and an Ilwolohbongdo painting of the sun, moon, and five mountain peaks. The reverse of the note displays a celestial globe, star charts, and modern telescope. the bank logo that is represented by a hibiscus flower. The note contains a solid security thread with printed Korean text Bank of Korea 10000. It also has a watermark that reveals an image of King Sejong the Great and an electrotype 10,000. Its registration device is in the form of a two-comma roundel (taeguk). It is 148 x 68 mm in size. This particular banknote is in uncirculated condition.
