Shows portraits of the communist "deities": Marx, Engels, Lenin and Stalin. Note that Stalin looks relatively young, as characteristic of his pre-WW2 images.The badge is in SUPERB condition, absolutely fantastic for a Soviet badge of such an early issue. The enamel is essentially perfect and shows beautiful luster; there are just a few tiny contact marks and miniscule flakes that are almost completely unnoticeable to the unaided eye. The details of the portraits are perfect and crisp, showing almost no wear. Traces of the original silver finish are present in the recessed areas of the portraits, while the silver finish on the reverse is practically pristine.
