Description: Soviet Russian Desk Note Pad 875 Standard Silver 1939 Soviet Russian 875 standard silver desk note pad featuring an embossed faux leather covering with an engraved silver name plate as well as ball feet. c.1939. Monogrammed "NG" in ornate period script. Inscribed "KL. 1939. g." in period script on the name plate. The sides of the note paper are silver colored. The inside of the lid is silk. There is a small pencil holder adjacent to the notepad. This wonderful desk note pad measures 5 15/16" long, 4 9/16" wide, and 1 5/8" tall. The soft, warm, original finish is present, with no buffing or machine polishing. The excellent original condition and clear, crisp detail, with no removals, repairs or alterations, make this an especially attractive offering. Monogrammed and inscribed as described above. The silver name plate has several usage marks due to a lifetime of loving usage. There is some minor wear on the faux leather covering.
