Description: This vessel holds the spirit of 守护猫 (Shǒu Hù Māo) l"Guardian Cat" or "Protective Cat". We call him phonetically Shoe. Shoe was brought to my aunt by a White Witch who was a very good friend. She was giving her spirits a new home since she was ill. During his life Shoe was the familiar of a Black Magic Witch. He was purchased as a kitten direct from a breeder known for producing excellent familiars during a time long long ago. Shoe was close to his mistress. He is a very neutral being and does not lean more towards light or dark side energies. You will find that Shoe brings a sense of magical energy to any space he inhabits. It can feel quite electric at times, as though the atmosphere is charged with pure energy. He is a powerful conduit and his presence is capable of providing plenty of "charge" to rituals and spellwork. He has retained much of the ability to do so. Shoe does get along well around other spirits and has no issues with negative ones. AsShoe is an animal spirit you will find that he isn't able to communicate on the same level as human spirits. The best way to get a concrete answer out of him is to make use of the pendulum and ask a series of "yes/no" type questions. You can provide him with an offering of white candles and he also likes to have some small cat toys and an amethyst crystal. At times he can also appreciate a small dish of milk and a bird feather but these are not essential all the time. Bringing Shoe into your home would be an ideal start to a collection. He is a gentle and friendly spirit, ideal for a beginner. He would also make a strong addition to the collection of a practicing Witch or other magic user. Shoe is ready for a new adventure!
