Description: Two years later, in 1926, the Greek State under Pagalos' doctorate issued a commemorative stamp (April 24) for the centenary of the Exodus of Messolonghi. The stamp had a value of 25 cents and depicts the tomb of Markos Botsaris. The largest part of Bonano's sculpture can be seen, the "child", who with her finger gropes the letters of the hero's epitaph. The stamp was released for the first time on April 24, 1926 only in Messolonghi. In the rest of Greece it was released 17 days
