Description: Lovely copy of the spectacular Getz Au Go Go LP on Verve stereo V6-8600. This was the follow-up to the smash Getz / Gilberto album, which gave the world The Girl from Ipanema, and made Astrud Gilberto a star. This was her second appearance on record, and if anything it is even better than the first, as she is features a lot more, and the recording is just magnificent, having been engineered by the great Rudy Van Gelder, who also did the LP mastering on this pressing, which has his name on the runoff. This album also features a young and up-coming Gary Burton, as well as Kenny Burrell in an unusual Bossa Nova style. This copy a just beautiful. The disc has a few light superficial marks but plays pretty much flawlessly and just beautifully. The cover has a touch of light shelfwear but is remarkably clean. This is a top original copy, hard to beat.
