Description: Here is a very hard to find Stanley No 87 scraper plane. The plane is 8 inches long and 2 3/8 inches wide. The cutter ( which is NOT original but a replacement) is 2 inches wide. These planes were only made for a few short years from 1905 to 1917. They are all marked Pat Apld For. Most of the original japanning remains. The tropical hardwood tote and knob are fine and original. About as nice as they get.
