Description: Vintage old fashioned STANWELL made in Denmark. Handmade approximately in the 1980s. This pipe finds itself in the MAT line which means the pipe as a matte finish with minimal sheen. Shape 56 is a classic shape, now applied to a standard Canadian form with a tapered vulcanite stem. The stem fits tightly into the draw hole. Notes: The pipe has been carefully cleaned and sanitized. Imperfections: This pipe is by no means in mint condition, nor has the present owner made any attempts at restoring this pipe to perfection. The front face of the outside of the pipe contains a noticable crack (see photos). It appears the prior owner attempted to fill it, but did not do a good job. This can be easily fixed by a professional and refinished so as to make the crack "disappear." The bit contains some small tooth scratches from clenching that are mostly visible on the underside of the bit.
