Description: Welcome to my Online store, where I try and combine new comics with books from my collection based on existing spec and my own views on what I think is heating up. If you're buying to collect, read or sell, I've got you covered. *N.B I only buy and sell comics I truly believe in: whether that be a cool cover, a story I loved reading or a writer and artist that I'm a fan ofWeek 19: Hello World! It's a very good week to be into comics, one of those with drops with a lot of variety, in addition to what I'm selling, here is what is on my radar: Captain marvel #49 Romero variant - A cool homage to the Alien 3 poster, I'm waiting for this arc to wrap being reading in full as I'm a fan of The Brood Danger Street #6 - This series is easing into focus as we hit the halfway point Extreme Venomverse #1 - Yes the (insert name of character)Verse has become exhausting as hell and with Al Ewing's current run providing a slew of different Venom's, albeit not necessarily Venom variants in the traditional sense I do wonder what the point of this is. Having said that, as the Course Leader on my MA used to say "pointlessness is good" so let's just enjoy the fun. In addition there were literally zero copies of the Momoko Samuri-Venom variant in the stores I visited this morning. I'm not sure if this was a shipping issue due to the Bank Holiday but aside from being the best cover if there's a problem with this getting out there, it COULD be a scarcely owned bookGreen lantern #1 - supposedly bringing Hal Jordan back to Earth and stripping it back to basics, I like the Green Lantern and think that DC could easily do a sort of Extended Lantern line of books like the current X-men iteration as there's so much scope there. I will be buying this to read as I also really like Xerminco's art Indigo Children #1, 2nd Printing - this been a knockout couple of issues so far with such vibrancy in the storytelling and the deceptively complex art I would seriously recommend giving it a go, I don't think this 2nd printing was heavily ordered either and has a cool cover Junkyard Joe #6 - Conclusion of this mini in the Unnamed run of titles by Geoff Johns and Gary Frank. I loved this one as it had a lot of heart and soul and this universe has a unique concept that has kept me hooked from the beginning. With all the current talk of AI coming to get us in the near future this was a beautifully human story. There's also a first appearance at the end and with the Geiger series already in production at Paramount this is an issue to pick up whether collecting, reading, or speculating Something epic #1 Cover C Kudranski - Hearing good things about this, this cover is a T2 homage and will be very hard to find in a 9.8 grade, hence why I wasn't able to pick a single good one up at the shops this morning What I'm selling this week:The Amazing Spider-Man #25 1:50 Land Virgin B&W VariantDaredevil #11 1:50 Chew Elektra Virgin VariantBatman Incorporated #8The Invincible Iron Man #6 Besch Virgin VariantSilk #1 1:25 Nakayama VariantStargirl: The Lost Children #6 Incentive 1:25 Kevin Maguire Variant Solicitation: CHAPTER 6: YOUNG JUSTICE SOCIETY The battle for the fate of the lost children is here! Stargirl faces off against the Childminder on Orphan Island in the hopes of saving these forgotten sidekicks from her monstrous clutches. But if she succeeds, what does this mean the DC Universe timeline? Additional Notes:1:25 Incentive Variant cover by Kevin Maguire book is in Mint Condition, unopened, unread Images are high res scans of the copy for sale I will ship one order each month with a free mystery comic! If you're not specing on Star-Girl you're missing out: lower print runs, a cult following, a three season TV series and an appreciation and love for the character by one of the the comics industry's heavyweights (Geoff Johns also writes this mini series) Need I say any more? Of late the incentives (of which there are very few around) for this run have been very good, like the Nakayama, Silk cover also out this week simple is best but I love the attention to detail of the wormhole and the pose and facial expression is super fun, there's almost something of the Spielbergian sense of wonder here which works so well with the character shipping & packaging* - PLEASE READ CAREFULLY:free mainland shipping on orders of £35.00 or higher, Tracking option available on books £20.00 or higher (please contact me to let me know if you would like your item signed for, otherwise I will send discount) Royal Mail 2nd Class delivery corrugated comic mailer, bound and taped with 2 calcium buffered comic backers extra safe and secure!
