Description: Excellent used micrometer. Well maintained and never dropped. No slack in the spindle threads, and has smooth, easy and even rotation of the spindle throughout its range of travel. Measuring surfaces are flat and shiny; no chips or scratches. Will measure accurately against a 3” standard and then to a 4”standard without adjustments. Ratchet works correctly as well as the friction lock. The Black finish does show light scratches in places and is lightly rubbed through on the edges of the frame. No engravings or personal markings.
