Description: Limited edition black and white print of a Kaydet by artist BERT MADER. The much beloved U.S. Army primary trainer of WW II. The Kaydet was introduced by the Stearman Aircraft Division of Boeing in 1934. It became an unexpected success during WW II despite its almost obsolete design. It possessed a simple, rugged airframe that made it ideal as a trainer for novice pilots. There’s something about radial engine biplanes. The late Bert Mader has done a nice pencil rendering of the Kaydet for this limited edition of 650 prints signed and numbered by the artist. This print frames up very nicely and is suitable for any room of the house. The photo does not do the print justice (please excuse the shadow on the lower right of the wide shot - the print is in excellent condition). Overall print size is generous at approximately 30 by 16 inches. Please e-mail with questions prior to purchase; we are happy to provide additional information.
