Description: Here is a commercial heavy-gauge ceramic creamer with a lovely opal-iridescent glaze and gold trim on the rim and handle. It stands 3” tall with a top opening diameter of 2 ¼”. The bottom diameter is 3”, foot ring only is 1 ¾”. From spout to handle it measures 3 ½”. The condition is very good with no chips, cracks, crazing, or stains. A bit of the gold near the spout shows wear, see last photo. The green backstamp reads “Ivory, Lamberton, Sterling China" with an “S” in a shield surrounded by a wreath. In the 50s Sterling China of Ohio was one of the largest hotel and restaurant ware producers also serving airline and railroad companies. 1954 Sterling took over the Scammell China Company and its Lamberton China line.
