This looks very realistic and has some age to it. It's a gorgeous ring that looks old. According to my diamond tester, the ruby is not a CZ, it's lab created but I'm not a certified gemologist. Millimeter measurements and carat weights are estimated on gemstone styles. *Please read the helpful info below about ring sizes and natural gemstones. Silver and gold items are sold by gram weight. RING INFORMATION: On pre-owned rings, the ring mandrel that shows the ring size may fit differently than on your finger, especially with vintage styles because they've been worn repetitively and formed to another person's finger. For example, on the mandrel the size may show a little smaller or larger than how it fits on your hand. Wide rings often have this issue. The width is measured at the widest point of the band. Gemstones, beads, wood and other items attached may not be silver.Each item will be wrapped separately to avoid scratches.All jewelry is gently cleaned and polished and will arrive in a fabric organza gift bag or jewelry box. We use a Presidium Gem Tested when applicable and/or a diamond beam. Many stones are not listed on the tester such as apatite, bixbite, etc., so we GUESS. The only way to certify a stone to be natural is to send it to the GIA in New York. Commercial presidium gem testers can't differentiate between lab created and natural stones. The GIA charges $150 or more PER ITEM to certify a stone. You are always welcome to return an item if we have made a mistake or you don't like it. I would never mislead you. I'm a jewelry collector too! :) We measure the gemstones as best we can. If we can't get an exact measurement due to the setting, we measure including the bezel. Measurements and carat weight are estimates and are not exact.ACID TESTING INFO: Vintage items will always have wear and stamps are often worn off or impossible to see. This is why we acid test every item. When we show the acid test, the scratch glows blue for sterling silver and disappears with plated metals. Some items will have acid marks or scratches from testing. We do our best to hide the testing area so you don't see it.
