Description: Price Reduced!!!! This is a very nice, well kept Stubben Siegfried jumping saddle. Serial # stamped “54257” and 30cm circa @1950. This is an early model, hand made in Germany. Leather is not dry and brittle in the usual areas. It is well conditioned. Seat measures 17.5 in. and tree width is 30 cm or medium wide. It shows general wear from use and is in very good condition considering it’s age. It’s been kept indoors. Billets are in remarkably good shape and the saddle is completely rideable. I rode in it a few days ago. It is solid and it passed every test. Please look at all photos as they are part of the description. I’ve tried to take a lot of pictures that show most every detail. It might be interesting to know that the name on the brass plate has been researched. He was a WWII Veteran of the Navy who served in the Solomon Islands. He lived in Massachusetts. I’m glad to answer any questions or take more photos upon request. It is available for local pickup near Atlanta, GA. If you would like alternative shipping arrangements, I am open to that. It will really depend on where it is going.
