It is 14k gold, tested and guaranteed, stamped 14k on the clasp It was made in the late 1800s or very early1900s. This piece features a pretty carved image of a woman with a flower in her hair and at her bodice. The cameo is shell. The filigree on the mounting is wonderful! The design is stunning. The cameo itself is in nice condition. The gold frame has a little compression along the lower righthand edge. The clasp is an old lever catch style, and a little finnicky.
