Stunning Victorian Whitby/Vulcanite Mourning Necklace. Each bead is intricately hand carved.It is 16" in length. The largest bead is 17 mm then 16 mm and the smallest - 11 mm I had to make all measurements under the strong lamp and I think it is not Vulcanite - I always thought it was and I was told by the seller it was. What confuses me now - it has beautiful very dark red tone to it like red Russian amber. But unlike amber it leaves brown stroke - just double checked. Please, refer to pictures for weights and measurements. Photo does not do justice. Any questions, please, ask. I can combine 3-4 small jewelry items into a bubble envelope for the same shipping cost.
