Description: For sale is a stunning embroidered Christmas tree skirt (60" in diameter) in used condition. It was designed by Sudha Pennathur in California and handcrafted by artisans in India. Three rows of snowflakes in various shapes and sizes are embroidered on a delicate, lined near white ivory colored 100% Rayon silky fabric. The silver beads sparkle beautifully. Some snowflakes have white beading in the center, the rim features silver beads and white faux pearls. The cord is finished with two sparkly silver beaded tassels. The center hole measures ca. 6" when the hook & eye clasps are closed, but can be left open for wider tree trunks. Diameter of the skirt is 60", weight ca. 2 1/4 pounds. I displayed this tree skirt once after I bought it at Neiman Marcus around 2011 and stored it since then. The original price was $625.00. I see no damage or stains, the tree skirt has been stored for over 10 years and would benefit from a light steaming, but no ironing.
