You get the light itself, the Sunpak power adapter (CHG-21), a used Sunpak RB-77 Battery, and instruction sheet. The light does work with battery as you can see in one of the photos. I do not know how much life is left in the battery. I would plan on replacing it, but it did charge and work, but it may not hold the charge for long. You can also use Sunpak RB-77S, and RB-55 batteries, and also NP-55 and NP-77 batteries. The light connects to a video camera or other camera through a hot shoe (really a cold shoe, as there is no electrical connection on it). If you have questions, please ask.
