Superb medieval Colombian chess set - Medieval theme

Description: Normal 0 21 false false false FR X-NONE X-NONE A very impressive and original chess set.It is a Colombian chess set, and made in Colombia is engraved on one of its hinges. It can also be used as a wall decoration, with rings at either end enabling it to be hung on a wall. Inside, magnificent Gothic alcoves have been carved in the wood to store the pieces. The pieces were made on a medieval theme, they are made of stone powder and resin, representing characters from the Middle Ages, and match wonderfully with the carved wooden alcoves and the game's red and black checkerboard. The king measures 11.4 cm and the board 49 x 49 x 5.6 cm. The chess pieces are in very good condition, with no damage apart from an insignificant chip on one rook, shown at the end of the photo series. The board is also in good condition, with only superficial marks and traces of wear on its surface as can be seen in the photos (giving it a certain vintage charm undoubtedly) For shipping, everything will be protected with bubble wrap, immobilized and I'll use polystyrene foam pegs to protect the corners of the board.
