Sturdy alloy construction utilizes a wall thickness of at least 1.5 mm with precision robot welded seams and punch riveted trim for serious durability that is completely dust/waterproof. All the corners on this German engineered side case are beveled to improve structural rigidity and aesthetics while eliminating sharp edges. Heavy-duty stainless steel latches are used to fasten the hinged lid and secure the luggage itself to the rack. Optional locking cores can be added in each latch to keep the lid locked, but also to prevent theft of the side case as the luggage will then lock to your side carrier.-The TRAX ION side case is a great bang for your buck in the adventure luggage category. It provides all the security and waterproof performance of a more expensive case like the TRAX Adventure series only with a few less convenience features. Mounting to your motorcycle is almost easier than hanging up your coat, simply place it on the rack and secure the latch. -The TRAX ION side case works with SW-MOTECH, GIVI Monokey and other side carriers using available adapter hardware (sold separately).
