In typical Swiss fashion, everything about these jackets is sturdy and well made. They consist of the following; two breast pocket, left sleeve pocket, adjustable side attachment loops, shoulder epaulets, a zippered front, a sturdy cotton/poly 50-50 mix material, and 6-inch zippered sleeves. All of the jackets are in excellent to non-issued condition. No damage, repairs or stains. Very nice, grade 1 Swiss military surplus jackets. The chest on the 48-M is an app. 46" (measured all of the way around the outside of the jacket) or 23" pit to pit, it is 19 1/2" across the shoulders and the sleeves are 24 1/2" measured from the outside seam of the shoulder to the tip of the sleeves. Length is app. 29" from the bottom of the collar to the bottom hem of the jacket. It is a very comfortable size Medium or a borderline Large.The unique Swiss Alpenflage Fall Camo pattern is a favorite among hunters for its tan, brown, green and red leaf design.
