Description: This week I'm offering a number of old non-sport cards from various vintage sets. The set designated T1 consists of large (approximately 6x8) premiums printed on heavy paper, showing contemporayr stage actresses. Issued around 1902-03 by Turkish Trophies cigarettes, the cards are rich in color, stunning artwork, and interesting design. One hundred years after they were issued, this set remains very popular cards among non-sport collectors. Here I have a card from the T1 set picturing actress Blanche Bates, one of 25 different blank-backed cards in the set. It's in acceptable condition except a small tear, and pinholes in the corners (see scan for condition). Not bad for a card that's well over a century old!
