I also was able to access the folders/files on this Tascam device through the USB cable connected to my Windows 10 PC. So it appears this device does work, but I do not know if the other functions, like with the knobs and sliders, work as they should. That is why I am selling it as is, for parts or repair. Read the full description below and watch the listing video before purchasing. ------------------------------------------------------------------------------ I have a Tascam DP-01 PortaStudio digital recorder device. Main color is blue and it was made in China with UPC 043774019762. It comes with a 3rd party brand 12V DC power supply, no other cables or accessories included. I marked this for parts or not working because I am unable to fully test it. I was able to use the included power supply and power it on and verify the display screen works. I can scroll through the different menu options as well. I can even open the USB port and access the files from this DP-01 device from my Windows 10 computer. I added a photo to this listing showing the folder I could access on this device. So the PC does recognize the device, but outside of that, I do not know if the sliders work, or if the buttons/functions work. This Tascam device is also missing a couple of knobs. I added up close photos to show which knobs are missing. Cosmetically, this was in storage for a good amount of time and does have wear and tear. This includes scratches, markings, some of the coloring has wiped off in some areas etc. I added a video showing me powering on this Tascam DP01 digital recorder and going through the different menu options. One thing I noticed, the enter/yes button, I sometimes have to press down on it for it to register. But the other buttons appear to work just fine.
