Description: American Eagle Mechanical Toy Bank Advertising Card "American Eagle" Toy No 300 Savings Bank circa 1900 by J&E Stevens Co., Cromwell, Conn. In near fine, clean condition, small surface crease at top that's it, an extremely clean and well preserved over the years by collectors. Back clean. This one color J. & E. Stevens mechanical bank card was issued with the Stevens name on the imprint (at bottom). These one color descriptive and instructional Stevens ad flyers were usually intended to be inserted inside the wooden box with the bank before leaving the factory with the J. & E. Stevens maker's attribution on the flyer. This flyer insert card is printed on thinner paper stock than a standard ad card of the type handed out to advertise the bank. Measures 3 1/4 x 5 1/2 inches. Extremely scarce and collectible, 100% original and authentic. Will ship in archival sleeve for ongoing preservation.
