Description: The Liberty Chimes by Kohler-Liebich Co. Chicago. A vintage and very rare set of chimes, also referred to as xylophone/Glockenspiel or Orchestra Bells. This set needs restoration, appears to be complete with an extra C# chime. The case is in good condition considering the age, there is only 1 mallet. This Company was famous for Railroad Bells and Dinner bells mostly in the 4 or 5 chime configuration, I believe this is from the early 1900's. It weighs 16 pounds and is 25 inches long. Closed it's 10.5 inches at the widest and 5 inches at the narrow end, would open to approximately double that size.
