Description: Item Is in VERY GOOD to GOOD Condition. It has some typical minimal shelf wear for a vintage paperback. The pages inside are in very good shape with no highlighting, marks, or writing; no dog-earing. There is one bent page on the front cover, which continues through the first five pages only and does NOT go through the rest of the book. From the contents page to the last page 253, there is no bend. The laminated cover is in good shape with no scratches or tears; minimal to no fraying along the edges, but there is a bit more wear on the bottom edges and foot and crown of the spine from shelf rubbing. There is just the one bend on the front as described, and two smaller minor ones along the front right edge, but these are not obtrusive. There is no crease along the spine; the spine binding is tight, no loose pages, and in good shape. The spine is not broken (please see pictures as they are part of the description). Overall in very good condition to good condition.This 1987 edition of Arthur C. Clarke's science fiction collection of short stories is a classic, Including stories such as "Before Eden", " Encounter at Dawn", and "I Remember Babylon", among others. Enjoyable and fun to read.
