The painting was created by the late artist Moshe Katz. Who was also known by Morris or Morrie. Mr. Katz was a Polish - American artist, who is listed in the Guinness Book of World Records as the fastest and most prolific painter. On October 1st, 1985 he broke Pablo Picasso's record as the world's most prolific artist. He painted many of America's United States Presidents. During 1965 he was commissioned by the Vatican to paint a portrait of Pope Paul VI, it sold three million copies worldwide. Morris "Morrie" Katz was born in Galicia, Poland on March 5, 1932, and died in New York City on November 12, 2010.
