Description: This is an eprom pcb upgrade to the Japanese version of The Simpsons. This version has many differences from the English version and all completely in English, no Japanese dialect or text, etc. Here are some of the differences:*Introduction of a mini nuclear bomb- spoiler, it can also inflict damage to yourself.*Health bar can extend beyond 100%- Yellow will be displayed over original health meter, then green when over 200%.*Increased number of food items scattered throughout.*Upon defeating Smithers, a bunch of food will pop out for use in the final battle with Mr. Burns.*Different fixtures can be destroyed for health items that are not found in the other versions.*Extra weapons are found throughout that are not found in the English version.*Weapons can be used while jumping.*Scoring system changes, ie. a vitality bonus can be earned at the end of the level based on how much health is remaining and bonus rounds contain and extra time bonus, among other scoring changes.*Other changes that I won’t spoil here. In my opinion, a worthwhile addition to have alongside the English version. The Simpsons 2 player eproms allow you to select and play any of the four characters instead of being locked into just 1 as you will if you have a 4 player version pcb. This kit is meant for a 2 player cabinet. PCB shown in picture is not included in the auction. I am charging for the eprom(s) and my time only and own the PCB these chips are made for.
