Description: This is " The Theological Works of Thomas Paine ", in an 1824 edition published by R. Carlisle in London. This edition reprints Paine's 1794 edition of The Age of Reason, adds various letters and commentaries on theological issues, and includes a transcription of Paine's will. Condition of this leather bound book is about Good, with the boards covered in worn leather. The binding has been repaired with brown plastic tape and the page block is split about half-way through the signatures. Most of the pages are relatively free of foxing, but the frontispiece has offset heavily onto the illustrative title page.
