Morland The Virtuous Parent; Laetitia endeavours in vain by presents to reconcile her Parents Plate 3: a young woman wearing a wide-brimmed hat with a plume over long curls, standing in the centre of a simple interior, where her mother sits on the left, holding up a handkerchief as she laments her daughter who offers a present to her father, while he sits on the right, looking away unhappily and throwing out his arms in refusal; on the wall are pictures of 'Virginia' and 'Good Samaritan'; after Morland. 1789 Piece has edge wear, and slight tears Piece measures approximately 22" x 15" Please see pictures for details and condition.
