Description: With the success of The Disney Store franchise in the mid 90s, where visitors could enter the store and feel as though they might have been shopping in Disneyland, the Disney Company opened The Walt Disney Galleries - the first one in the Main Place Mall, Santa Ana, with 5 other locations throughout the United States - where high-end jewelry, sculptures, pottery, serigraphs and original cells could be purchased. In addition many smaller, less expensive items could be found - such as key chains, pins, address books, journals and note cards; anyone with a love of all things Disney could always find something to take home. These laser-cut, frame-worthy notecards came in a box of six cards and envelopes and due to limited availability and unique design, sold out quickly. This set features an intricately cut design of Fantasyland’s ‘it’s a small world’ featuring the smiling clock face from the attraction’s facade, surrounded by the different dolls of various countries. A soft lavender-colored inserted background allows the design to stand out and adds a warm tone to each card. The card measures 5” x 7” with the cut-out measuring 4 1/2” x 4 1/2”, the clock face is 2 1/8” across and the small world figures are 7/8” high. The opened notecard has 10” of writing space. The set has been stored in its original clear plastic container, and the cards are in pristine condition, having neither been used nor displayed. PLEASE NOTE: If you wish to purchase other items at the same time please advise me that you would like combined shipping before making payment so that I can determine the shipping fees and if one package is feasible.
