This volume is an essay and exegesis of an early 18th century bound Virginia manuscript entitled "A Book of Orders of Court Begun April Court Anno Domini 1737. Be Lewellin Eppes Cls [Clericus] Curiae." The author of the pamphlet, Bacon, interprets the social and political dynamics of the colony during that period, based on the text.
