Description: This is a low loss, 50 ohm, double shielded, 100 ft coax assembly suitable for all HF/VHF/UHF applications up to and including 450MHz. Perfect for Amateur Radio(Ham) and CB applications. Direct Bury is a premium version designed for extended contact with water. This coax is made with silicon gel between the jacket and dielectric to prevent water from migrating should the jacket be compromised. We use only Genuine, Made in USA, Times Microwave™ LMR-400DB coax with silver/Teflon PL-259 Male connectors installed on both ends. Connectors have both braid AND center conductor soldered. The durable Polyethylene jacket resists abrasions, is water tight and designed for a service life of 20 years in outdoor installations. With a minimum bend radius of 1 inch, clean installations are a breeze. Light weight at 6.8 lbs. per 100 feet. Features: Low-Loss: LMR-400 has the lowest loss of any RG8/RG213 'type' cable. This is achieved through the use of a high velocity gas-injected closed cell foam dielectric and bonded aluminum tape outer conductor.Flexible: With a 1-inch minimum bend radius, LMR-400 cable can be easily routed into and through tight spaces without kinking.
