Tonka Art, Mr. Junk Yard Crane

Description: More Tonka Art from old Slicky here. This is new construction using mostly old parts. Once I saw an old Tonka Road Grader cab/engine compartment for sale on ebay, I got the bright idea to create an old junk yard crane, the kind you'd see at actual old car junk yards, the kind the junk yard owner no doubt built from old junk he had on hand. This crane features the Tonka road grader cab with engine compartment. I took the liberty of installing heavy steel screen onto the engine compartment hood side panels. The roof mounted winch is actually from a Tonka Crane, just cut down a bit to fit the road grader roof better. The crane boom is also from a ??? crane toy, just not Tonka. The junk yard owner landed a fresh John Deere tractor to rob the fresh tires & wheels from. Finally old Slicky here grubbed-up the original paint with some junk yard mud, then added some junk yard decals before clear coating the piece- - -easy deal.
