Description: TRIX HO Electric Locomotive(DB) Deutsche BundesbahnBR E 10.12 Rheingold#22031German Federal Railroad (DB) class E 10.12. Express locomotive with aerodynamic ends, high-performance trucks, and front skirting. The locomotive looks as the prototype did starting in 1962. Era III.Model: The locomotive has a die-cast metal frame and body. It also has a digital decoder for DCC, Selectrix, Trix Systems, and conventional operation. The locomotive has a compact design C-Sine high-efficiency propulsion system, centrally mounted. 4 axles powered by cardan shafts. 2 traction tires. The headlights and marker lights are maintenance-free LED's, will work in conventional operation, and can be controlled digitally. Station announcements and a locomotive whistle sound can be controlled with DCC or Trix Systems. The locomotive has separately applied metal hand rails. The engineer's cabs have interior details. The locomotive has separately applied roof walks. Length over the buffers 189 mm / 7-7/16". Very hard to find. Excellent condition. It appears to have never been run. The box has some writing on it.
