Description: I'm an L.A. Studio Musician, and I've played this horn on many recordings over the years, including at CAPITOL RECORDS and LIVE ON CBS LATE LATE SHOW WITH JAMES CORDEN. I've played on American Idol, The Voice, and many others, and I have played this horn on those shows too, I just can't remember which ones lol. I've owned & professionally played this horn for the last 14 years. I really like this horn and the way it plays. It has an intimate and warm tone, and I love the way it feels in my hand - very balanced and compact, with low valve action which I wish Bach and Yamaha emulated. The valves move fast, they're great. The engraving work is all original and just beautiful. But I recently bought a brand new Bach 190, and I simply have too many trumpets right now. If I had my preference, I'd keep this horn to use whenever I wanted that vintage sound and look, but as I tell my children, we can't have everything. Serial number 13,086, which means it was made in late 1950's or early 1960's. The valves were recently professionally aligned by Kevin Bowen of North Georgia Horn Works (just google him, he's well known in Atlanta). I have the receipt.
