Up for sale is one (1) U2 - The Joshua Tree LP from 1987 on Island Records (#90581-1). This is an Original Pressing from 1987 that is STILL IN THE ORIGINAL SHRINK WRAP WITH THE ORIGINAL HYPE STICKER ON THE FRONT COVER. Good luck finding this gatefold cover that is still in the ORIGINAL SHRINK WRAP with the ORIGINAL HYPE STICKER as most people would tear off the shrink to see the inside of the gatefold. This one is in EXCELLENT shape as it has been preserved in plastic lo these many years! This LP is getting harder to find as vinyl was being phased out in the late 1980s for the CD age. PLAY TESTED! I RECENTLY PLAYED THIS LP AND IT SOUNDS AWESOME! The Vinyl is in EXCELLENT condition. Even with an EXCELLENT grading there may be a certain amount of surface noise. More noticeable during the quiet parts. Nice, clean labels with minor spindle marks. The gatefold cover is still in the original shrink wrap and is in EXCELLENT condition with typical wear from age, including, but not limited to corner dings / soft corners, ring wear, dings, etc... There are no split seams. There are a few small tears in the skrink wrap typical with age. The Hype Sticker is in EXCELLENT condition with typical wear from age. The custom Lyric insert / poster is in EXCELLENT condition with typical wear from age, including, but not limited to corner dings, creases, crumples, ring wear, dings, etc... The custom Inner Sleeve is a plain Black sleeve and is in EXCELLENT condition with typical wear from age, including, but not limited to corner dings, creases, crumples, ring wear, dings, small tears, etc... There are no split seams. I transferred the LP to a plain inner sleeve. I obtained this LP in 1980s. It was gently played just a few times back in the day. I had a copy on CD as well and played that copy instead of the LP. Not played in many years. I am thinning out my vinyl collection. This is the actual item you will receive.
