Description: Description These uncirculated 1 Egyptian pound notes are standard circulation banknotes issued by the Central Bank of Egypt. They are brown, yellow, pink, and green notes dated 2021, bear the signature of Tarek Hassan Amer, and measure 140 mm x 70 mm each. Its obverse side features the mausoleum of Sultan Qayetbay at the Mamluks Cemetery in Cairo. Its reverse side shows a cartouche with the name of Nefertari, four carvings of Rameses II from the Great Temple at Abu Simbel, a cartouche with the name of Rameses II, and birds and shapes from the façade of the Luxor Temple of Amenophis II. Security features include a windowed Motion security thread, and a watermark of the mask of Tut-Ankh-Amon (see photos!).
