Description: I have for sale a United Confederate Veterans 1922, 32nd, reunion medal. The reunion was held in Richmond, Virginia. The medal has two metal parts, that look to be bronze, and they are in a high grade circulated condition. The top bar is 1 13/16 inches wide and the length of the two parts is 2 7/8 inches. The medal was made by the Whitehead & Hoag company. The top pinback bar in the center shows a soldier on horseback statue and the name under the statue is GEN. JACKSON. To the left and right of the center it reads RICHMOND - VIRGINIA. On the bottom piece at the top on a ribbon, it reads, UNITED CONFEDERATE VETERANS, and below, there is a building and on another ribbon in tiny letters, it reads, WHITE HOUSE OF THE CONFEDERACY. Below the second building it reads CONFEDERATE MEMORIAL INSTITUTE. At the medal bottom it reads 32ND REUNION - JUNE 1922, separated by a Confederate flag, that is missing most of it's red enamel.
