Description: 80+ Years Old!United States Army Air Forces Summer Flying Pilot Helmet Type AN-H-15 with RARE HEADSET (no mic attachment or oxygen mask)I could not find the owners name anywhere in the helmet (excerpt from National Air & Space Museum website) The AN-H-15 helmet was introduced as the standard summer or light weight for the Army Air Force and Navy on April 23, 1943. It served as the replacement for the Type A-9 flying helmet. It was the first flying helmet designed under the joint Army/Navy procurement program. Condition:Used condition that shows age and wear. Noticeable staining on forehead portion of helmet.The cloth is in good condition with no tears or holes.The headset has not been tested.Questions:We welcome & encourage your questions regarding our merchandise.
