Description: Two beautiful vintage Chinese cloisonné fish vases in excellent condition with stunning detail. 8.25” tall and triangular base sides are 4.25”. Starting at the top, you can see two eyes on each of the three sides. There are scales with central floral ovals. Waves are crashing at the tail. Likely from Beijing Enamel Factory (JingFa) circa 1960s-70s based upon the neat execution of the fishscale pattern and the style of the flowers and bird. The pair might have been a wedding present, considering the Chinese lore surrounding double fish which are symbolic of successful partnerships. Excellent condition without damage or restoration. You’ll be thrilled to add these to your collection. Free shipping includes tracking and insurance.
