Description: Up for sale is a most unusual jack plane by a COMAR MFG Co. of New York. The most interesting feature is the Stanley Bedrock-like bed and frog mating surface. Possibly made by Stanley. It's in great condition with a smooth and flat sole, 95% original japanning, and a near full length 2" cutter. The leading edge of the frog has some chipping, which is unsurprising because the cast is very thin there. The tote is a rosewood replacement from a Stanley.
