Description: This listing is for an M9 and sheath with pouch. Overall condition is excellent. Handle, hilt, sheath pouch, straps and stone are all 95% or better. The blade is 85% as it has a few minor chips in the middle. We expect this was an early testing example, as this particular sample was from the original contract for the US Army, as indicated by the proof mark “>” on the blade. So we believe that this was in the original trial batch. This have the fuller groove on the blade. Sheath is correct for the period, however we don’t know if it was the original sheath paired with this knife. The sheath has the full length attachment strap and pouch. Stone is present and in excellent condition. Please see other listings for higher graded M9's. Please view pictures to determine condition.
