These can't be found just anywhere! Not, of course, allowed on the uniform, but worn on all manner of off-duty civilian caps and clothing as novelty items. Not sure how long the older ones will last, so don't miss out! 1st Bn, 5th Marines has served in practically every major US conflict since its heroic debut with the 4th Marine Brigade in WWI ! Their battle streamers also encompass WWII, Korea, Vietnam, and more recently Desert Storm where they served with the 1st MarDiv (reinforced) as part of Task Force Ripper. Note the 1st Marine Division patch under the crossed sabers. Legend on scroll at the bottom of this one reads: MAKE PEACE OR DIE Recent Decades: In 2003, this unit was on the ground in Operation Iraqi Freedom for the initial invasion! Following that, they served a second tour in Fallujah in 2004, and deployed once again in 2005 for a third tour in Ramadi! This is a BRAND NEW and UNUSED patch. It is NOT a war relic but a recent manufacture item! Fully embroidered with cut edge and plastic heat-sealed backing (as shown in 2nd photo.) Colors are clean and bright.
