Van Briggle Pottery Swan Lamp American Art Pottery Vintage 1950s AS IS

Description: I have up for sale a wonderful vintage original circa 1950s signed Van Briggle Art Pottery Figural SWAN lamp . Its a faint blue Glaze over Ivory . The Swan measures approx 8-1/4" long, 4" deep at the base, and approx 8-1/4" to the where the metal stems fits into the Swan . It weighs roughly 3 lbs and stands approx 18" to the top of the finial when screwed in place. The Swan is Imperfect - there are a couple of livable cracks. The worst is on the front and shown in multiple pics as noted in the condition report . There is another lesser crack on the side of the base which is shown in the last pic, - this one is faint and hard to notice unless you are looking with scrutiny. Also noted in the condition report is an issue with how the harp frame fits in the harp holder. It looks like it was either poorly designed or someone replace the frame. I actually think that they just made the holder a bit wrongly , not leaving enough room for the harp frame bottom section to fit into the holder correctly. I am selling the lamp AS IS - issues not in the condition report and shown in the pics - also noted here in the description. With that said , the damage is livable unless you are super fussy. I am selling the lamp at a reduced price due to the imperfections. UPON RECEIVING THE ITEM - ONLY THROW OUT THE BOX AND PACKAGING AFTER YOU HAVE INSPECTED THE ITEM AND ARE HAPPY THAT THERE ARE NO DAMAGES. IN THE RARE EVENT YOU RECEIVED THE ITEM AND IT IS DAMAGED -CONTACT ME ASAP - KEEP THE BOX AND ALL PACKAGING MATERIALS JUST AS THE ITEM ARRIVED AS THEY WOULD BE NEEDED TO HELP PROCESS THE INSURANCE CLAIM. YOU WOULD BE REQUIRED TO HELP WITH THE INSURANCE CLAIM . SAVE THE BOX AND ALL PACKAGING , YOU WOULD NEED PICS OF THE OUTER BOX AND INNER BOX , AND PICS OF THE DAMAGED ITEM. WITHOUT THESE PICS, YOU WILL NOT GET A REFUND IF I CAN NOT PROCESS THE CLAIM - YOUR HELP IS REQUIRED. THIS IS PART OF YOUR RESPONSIBILITY WHEN IT COMES TO DAMAGE. I PACKAGE TO THE VERY BEST OF MY ABILITIES BUT SOMETIMES THINGS HAPPEN THAT ARE OUT OF OUR CONTROL.
