The original label is still on the tray.The piece is hand painted and decorated with a beautiful bouquet of roses and other flowers on a white background.There is a red border all around decorated with golden scrolls.Around this is a white border scalloped and embossed at the sides in the shape of two handles, decorated with blue ribbonsand gold. The work is signed. The edges are gilded.The tray is an impressive 20 1/4" by 13 1/2".The back is un-glazed to avoid slipping.The tray is in excellent vintage condition without chips, cracks, crazing nor repairs.The decoration is still intact with no visible wear.There are some pin size irregularities in the decoration due to the hand painted job, and some dark spots on the un-glazed bottom of the tray.It is rare to find a Limoges tray this large, very useful to presenta tea or coffee set, and very decorative on its own.The tray will be shipped insured and double boxed.Please take a look at my store for more hand painted items.Payment in 3 days.
