Description: This is an opportunity to own a piece of history minted between 69-79 AD. This is a genuine coin of Vespasian, struck in bronze, and in the exact condition you see pictured. It is a scarcer coin with a bit of mystery around it. There are 15 specimens of this coin in RPC. No one has officially determined where this coin was minted. It could be tied to the Judaea Capta series based on Nike/Victory being on the reverse and it is reminiscent of some coins under Agrippa II. However neither attribution has been officially made. It is considered by some to be from Asia Minor. This is a coin that has been sought after by collectors for years. It is a chance to own one that is guaranteed authentic. Judging condition is subjective, but in my opinion, this coin is a strong VG and possibly a low F. Vespasian was the father of Titus and Domitian and was the ruler of the Roman empire during the destruction of the second Jewish temple.
