Description: VG Vaughn And Bushnell # 803 Corrugated Smooth Plane This is a nice unique old smooth plane. It Is not cracked, chipped, broken or repaired. The body looks good and appears to retain a lot of the original Japanning. The lever cap is very nice and not damaged. The cutter has a good mark and plenty of length. The cap iron has the plane number on it. The tote and knob are real nice with only a very few of the typical " tool box dings". These V&B planes use a frog like the early "Bedrock" and have rounded shoulders like the "Bedrock" ones. The later V&B planes had flat slanted shoulders much like the later "Bedrock" planes. Please look at the pictures. What you see is what you get. The shipping cost includes insurance. I try to describe the old things I sell but they are used and being sold “AS IS”.
